Strength & Shield

Good day to you,

Do you ever wake up on the wrong side of the bed?  You know, you just start the day off on a sour note or just feeling off?  Our Father never has a bad day. He doesn’t get moody or let emotions get the best of him. He never falters, flakes out or takes a nap.He never sleeps or takes a vacation. 

But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Our King and master is faithful, reliable and steadfast solid. He can be trusted and leaned on. And because he is so reliable, we can rest in the promise and fact that he will watch over everyone committed to him, to watch and guard us from the plans and schemes of the evil one. 

In matters of the spirit realm and the unseen realm of life, it is so comforting and empowering to know that we don’t have to be “on” and stress out about how to defend ourselves. How could we anyway? Can you know where the attacks are coming from?  Can you know who they’re coming from? We don’t have the understanding or the means. But he is faithful and knows, sees and has the authority, power and credentials to protect us.  So I encourage you to put your trust in him, relax and stay calm. He’s got this. He’s on task. When it comes to your future, your family, your kids or grandkids, he will take care of that which is committed to him. He will strengthen and protect your life.  His nature and name is at stake, so relax and trust him.
