Good Thinking

Good day to you,

What if I was to say to you that I know a sure fire way for you to experience wonderful joy and find greater prosperity and all it requires is that you have more FEAR in your life, would you believe me?

I am talking about the right kind of fear, the fear that’s missing from many of those walking the planet today. It is “the fear of the Lord”. This fear is having a keen awareness of his authority, it’s a deep respect and reverence, a true humility before God. That he’s always aware and watching, keeping the books. 

Ps. 128:1-2 How joyful are those who fear the LORD - all who follow his ways! You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be!

​How is it possible that you would be joyful from having this fear? How can joy come from fear?  When you submit to him and yield your heart and emotions to the authority of Christ, there sets in a peace from this proper alignment that is realized within your soul. He’s in charge! He’s on point. He is Lord! You go about learning his ways and desires, you choose to follow them and you know that he’s pleased with the actions you have taken. This creates a deep assurance of confidence and clarity. Joy and security are the fruit of such stability. You find enjoyment in the work of your hand for you know that your work is unto the Lord and he is pleased with your labor. This insight from the book of Psalms is an amazing promise and such an encouragement for us to place our hearts at the right level and yield our ways and thoughts to him who reigns. Let’s go out and seek to gain a greater understanding of the the fear of the Lord, for the outcome is only good stuff.
